Configure Windows 98
Follow these instructions to configure your computer to work seamlessly with your Remote Storage Backup Server. You have the option to “map” a drive using Novell NetDrive or you can use Windows Net Folders.
WINDOWS 98 using NetDrive
- Download Novell NetDrive from the following url:
- Install Novell NetDrive - default settings will suffice. At the end of the installation, choose to restart your computer.

- After restarting, go to the NetDrive logo in the Toolbar.

- Right-click the NetDrive logo and choose Open NetDrive.

- After opening NetDrive, click on “New Site”.

- Enter a name into the Enter the name for your new site field. In the Enter the site/URL field, enter http:// followed by the IP address of your backup server and the directory. Both the IP address and directory are available through the iBizPanel.

- Uncheck the Anonymous/Public Logon field and enter your username and password. Both your username(s) and password(s) can be found through the iBizPanel.

- Press Connect. It will connect to your backup server and the drive will appear in My Computer. You will have full read/write access over your backup directory. Simply copy/paste or drag/drop to move data into your backup directory.

- Should there be an issue with any of your directories/files not refreshing, go to the Toolbar. Right-click on NetDrive and choose Show Monitor.

- Click on Flush Files and Flush Directories. That should resolve most refreshing issues.
