The following statement for existing DomainGurus customers is from Albert Sirvent, President of DomainGurus:

We are very pleased to announce that DomainGurus has been acquired by CariNet.

The integration of hardware and internet-related services from DomainGurus in CariNet has been so successful that we can see the acquisition of DomainGurus as a logical progression. We have increasingly tightened our relationship with CariNet in recent years, and in the end we decided to take it one step further. After so much work together, we honestly couldn’t imagine a better scenario than selling DomainGurus to CariNet.

CariNet will be able to offer an ever wider range of services to our customers from its datacenter products and services: Hardware, Hosting, Networking, Colocation, Clustering, Internet Connections and the well-known branded administration tool for resellers: the iBizPanel.

This acquisition will be transparent to you, our customer. The traditional iBizPanel user interface and services will not change; accounts, mailboxes, features, products, and services.

As of Thursday morning, January 3rd, 2008 the DomainGurus services will be transferred over to CariNet.

In order to administer your account, the current primary login of http://admin.domaingurus.com will remain active and merely redirect to http://admin.cari.net In addition, CariNet has committed to continue to offer and expand the multilingual Tech Support that defines DomainGurus.

DomainGurus itself will continue with a new series of value-added services, where all technical support, web management, and even marketing will be offered and bundled as a full turn-key package for small businesses. By using CariNet’s infrastructure and interacting even more directly with their technicians and programmers, the new DomainGurus will be able to deliver fully integrated products.

To watch our little project grow since its inception eight years ago has been an amazing experience, and we hope to make it even bigger with this step and with your continued support and patronage. We have worked hard to arrive at this point, but we know that we could not have done it without all of you – the wonderful community of resellers, systems administrators and end-users that trusted us. You deserve all the credit. There are no words to express how honored we feel when someone decides to choose DomainGurus for their new dedicated server, starting up a business, or setting up a web-based project.

We have lots of ideas in the pipeline. Our 8-year-old kid keeps on growing, and it’s because of you… Thank you!
