CariNet’s 5 datacenters have been accumulated over the past 10 years through a combination of new construction, retrofits, and acquisitions. This unique cluster of facilities is located in the burgeoning San Diego Spectrum business park. Within minutes of all five major San Diego freeways, this Central San Diego location makes CariNet one of the only major Southern California Datacenters you can reach quickly even during rush hour.
As the epicenter for Fiber and Telecom carriers in the city, CariNet’s campus is home to 11 different Tier 1 Fiber carriers. In addition to the 5 production centers currently owned and managed by CariNet, Cox Communications, Level 3, Cogent, Telepacific, AT&T, and Verizon each have facilities directly within the CariNet campus.
3 of the 5 datacenters operated by CariNet were purchased from AT&T, Telepacific, & Hosting.com over the past 5 years. All of the facilities are built to Tier 3+ standards complete with redundant power and cooling paths, multiple generators, and each is able to sustain major system or electrical outages without service interruption.
As the cornerstones of our business, these facilities are built to exacting standards and have been customized to serve the specific needs of our customers.
