Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1200 v3 Series
The Xeon® E3-1200 v3 series of processors, introduced in Q2 2013, uses the Haswell chips that are also the base for the Core i3/i5/i7, but with a different set of features.
Notably, the Xeon variants include support for ECC memory, VT-d and trusted execution, which is not present on the consumer i3/i5/i7 models. Along with this, some Xeon E3-1200 v3 models enable the integrated GPU that is present on Haswell.
Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2600 v2 Series
Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v2 family has the best combination of performance, power efficiency, and cost. E5-2600 v2 series processors are efficient, secure, and open platforms for internet data centers and IaaS.
It is for high performance computing and workstations as they are band optimized for high performance analytics and visualization.
Intel® Technology Platinium Provider
Platinum Level members are required to attend regular training events throughout the year, which allow them to keep their technical knowledge current. Additionally, Platinum Level members must maintain several industry certifications pertinent to their area of focus, and they must demonstrate an ongoing record of customer implementations.
Members of the Intel Technology Provider Program with Platinum Status have access to proprietary information, engineering support, and accelerated technical support from Intel, giving them the capability to create winning solutions based on industry-leading Intel technologies. And, they have the resources to offer a superior level of customer service and support during and beyond deployment.
Intel, the world leader in silicon innovation, develops technologies, products, and initiatives to continually advance how people work and live. Founded in 1968 to build semiconductor memory products, Intel introduced the world's first microprocessor in 1971.
